Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: MBBS or MD from a recognized university/college approved by the Medical Council of India. MD (Medicine) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of GP experience for MBBS holders.
- Minimum 3 years for MD holders. Experience must be post-registration with Medical Council; internship does not count.
- Age Limit: Must be below 67 years as of April 1, 2025.
Contract Duration & Compensation
- Contract Period: Initial 3-year contract, subject to annual review; may extend up to 2 more years based on performance.
- Termination: One-month notice on either side.
- Remuneration: ₹1,000 per hour; ₹2,000/month conveyance allowance; ₹1,000/month compounding fee (if applicable).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultations and issue prescriptions to staff, pensioners, and dependents.
- Administer injections, manage supplies of standard medicines.
- Issue sick leave certifications and process orders for specialized treatments.
- Scrutinize medical and hospitalization bills.
- Arrange hospital facilities and assist with telemedicine or emergency sessions.
- Support administrative medical requests, e.g. transfer on medical grounds.
